‘Spider-Man’ Producer was Unfamiliar with Zendaya During Audition for MJ

Amy Pascal, producer of ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, revealed that neither she nor Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige knew who Zendaya was during her audition for the character of MJ. “She was just dressed like a regular girl, and we were like, ‘Oh my God, she’s amazing,” Pascal told Vogue.

Zendaya, who began acting at a young age in the Disney Channel show ‘Shake It Up’, shared her thoughts on fame in a recent interview. “I have complicated feelings about kids and fame and being in the public eye,” she said. Zendaya emphasized that only now as an adult is she starting to understand her journey in the industry.

Reflecting on her past experiences as a child actor, Zendaya expressed concerns about the impact of fame on young individuals. “We’ve seen a lot of cases of it being detrimental. I think only now, as an adult, am I starting to go, Oh, okay, wait a minute – I’ve only ever done what I’ve known,” she said.
