Sri Lanka Climbs WTC Standings with Victory Over Bangladesh

Sri Lanka’s commanding victory over Bangladesh in their first Test at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium has propelled them from the bottom of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) standings to joint-sixth place. The win by 328 runs earned Sri Lanka 12 points and a 33.33% points percentage.

Bangladesh, who were at No.4 with 12 points and a 50% points percentage after two games, have now been joined by Sri Lanka in the standings. Pakistan has moved up to No.4 with a 36.66% points percentage, while West Indies, also with a similar points percentage to Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, have climbed to No.5 with a higher points tally of 16.
