Recently, Tanmay addressed these net worth reports on his Twitter account, stating,

“I can assure you this number is wildly off—at least for me.”

This response was in relation to a post that listed the net worths of famous content creators in India.

The discussion began when Twitter/X user Suchin Mehrotra posted a screenshot showing the net worths of India’s content creators and commented,

Tanmay Bhat is the founder and former CEO of the popular comedy group AIB. He served as CEO of this Mumbai-based comedy company until its dissolution in 2019 and played a crucial role in shaping the Indian stand-up comedy scene.

He also appeared as a judge in Season 1 of Comicstaan, a stand-up comedy competition on Amazon Prime.
