Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the Tata Curvv, a compact SUV, into the competitive Indian market. Recently, a test mule of the vehicle has been spotted on Indian roads, showcasing advanced features such as blind-spot assist and a full ADAS suite. The SUV coupe was revealed in near-production form at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in February 2024.

The Tata Curvv EV, spotted near Coimbatore during testing, will sit above the Nexon EV in Tata Motors’ lineup. The design showcases a coupe-like profile with significant changes to the side and rear, including new LED tail lamps. The vehicle will feature a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, all-digital instrument cluster, and other modern interior elements.

Tata has confirmed that the electric version of the Curvv will debut first, followed by the ICE iteration. The ICE version will be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine, paired with manual and automatic gearboxes. The Tata Curvv will compete against rivals such as the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder in the compact SUV segment. The vehicle measures 4,308 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, with a boot space of 422 litres and a wheelbase of 2,560 mm.
