Temperature in Tamil Nadu expected to decrease slightly in coming days

The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) in Chennai has predicted a slight decrease in temperature in Tamil Nadu over the next few days. According to a statement released on Thursday, the maximum temperature in southern districts of Tamil Nadu and parts of Puducherry is expected to drop by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.

Furthermore, moderate to light rainfall is anticipated in the southern delta districts of Tamil Nadu from April 11 to April 15. The fluctuating wind directions in the upper and lower layers of the atmosphere are said to be the cause of these rains.

The combination of rains and easterly winds in some parts of Tamil Nadu is likely to result in a decrease in temperature in the coming days, as per the statement. While Chennai is expected to have cloudy skies with a maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius, interior regions of Tamil Nadu may see temperatures reaching up to 40 degrees Celsius, as mentioned by the RMC.
