Ten Sena medals, seven Vishist Seva medals presented at SWC Investiture Ceremony

Jaipur, Feb 24 (IANS) The South Western Command (SWC) held its annual Investiture Ceremony at the Hisar Military Station in Haryana on Saturday. A total of 10 Sena Medals (Gallantry) and seven Vishisht Seva Medals were presented by Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, honoring forces personnel for their exceptional courage and devotion to duty.

The ceremony recognized 16 officers and one soldier for their acts of gallantry. One gallantry award was given posthumously to the next of kin of Major Vikas Bhambhu. Lieutenant General Seth commended the awardees for their bravery and service to the nation, urging all to rededicate themselves in the service of the country.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Seth interacted with the award winners and their families, acknowledging their significant contributions in upholding the highest traditions of the Indian Army. The event was marked by military grandeur and served as a platform to honor the valor and dedication of the awardees.
