Is There a Sinister Conspiracy Behind the ‘Thank You, Beyoncé’? TikTokers Smell Something Amiss

Users on TikTok were puzzled by a unique happening on the social media platform! Several TikTokers were thanking Beyoncé for anything and everything. Most of the posts seemed normal and innocent, yet something smelled fishy, and the genesis of this new trend does not seem too honourable.

Many contend that the phenomenon of many celebrities who are heaping praises on the singer is a testament to her godlike power, to which they are bending backwards to augur her whims. The conspiracy theory links the peculiar phenomenon to the passing of Aaliyah, the ‘Queen of Urban Pop,’ and Beyoncé is filling the vacuum created by her demise to become the singing icon she is today.

Many netizens point to J. Cole’s 2013 song ‘She Knows,’ in which he mentions Aaliyah’s death. Some TikTok users related the song to Beyoncé’s friendship with Diddy, who is at the centre of conspiracy theories connected to Aaliyah’s death. In a nutshell, the message is, “Thank Beyoncé or face the inevitable.”

Beyoncé has received both bouquets and brickbats in equal measure, with a section of the internet accusing her of having connections with Diddy; some are tirelessly defending her against the smear campaign.

Both Beyoncé and her husband, Jay-Z, are fawned upon for their godlike aura in the music industry. However, the latest conspiracy theories are only creating an image of a personality to be feared. The latest internet shenanigans could not have come at a worse time, with the music baron Diddy cooling his heels in jail on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. It is an open secret that the disgraced artist had shared a close relationship with Queen Bey and her rapper husband, and the couple has often been seen at the music baron’s infamous all-white parties.

Celebrities Do Fawn Upon Beyoncé—Fear or Respect?

There is no denying the fact that celebrities thank Beyoncé profusely. There are examples galore like Kanye rushing on stage when Taylor Swift beat Beyoncé for the top album of the year. Adele also found herself awkward when she won Album of the Year. Lady Gaga, Lizzo, and Britney Spears—the list goes on.
