These changes seen in the testing video: The new generation of Mahindra Xuv500 has been seen recently during testing, in which the dual touchscreen system was given. A video has been shared on the YouTube of the testing model of this SUV, which features a new LED headlamp and Mahindra’s 7-slat grille. For information, let the company launch this new car early next year.

New engine option: The 2021 XUV500 will get a new set of both petrol and diesel engines, which the company has also introduced at Auto Expo 2021. It will get a 2.2-liter updated mHawk diesel engine and a new mStallion 2.0-liter petrol engine. The new turbocharged petrol engine will generate a maximum power of 190 hp and peak torque output of 380 Nm. At the same time, both engines will be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

What will be the price: It is expected that the company can also offer a 4 × 4 drivetrain option for the Mahindra XUV500. At the same time, this car will compete with the upcoming 7-seater models of MG Hector, Tata Harrier and Hyundai Creta. The price of the new SUV can be started for the base variant at around Rs. 13 lakh ex-showroom. While the top-end all-wheel drive diesel model with automatic transmission will be priced around Rs 22 lakh ex-showroom.
