The Safety Features of Tata Nexon: Why it Received a 5-Star Global NCAP Rating

Tata Nexon SUV Retains Five-Star Safety Rating in Global NCAP Crash Test

Tata Motors has added another feather to its cap as its Nexon facelift SUV has retained its safest SUV tag after sailing through the latest Global NCAP crash tests with five-star safety ratings. The compact SUV, which comes with a wide range of safety features, has impressed safety watchdog Global NCAP, solidifying Tata Motors’ commitment to building safe and secure vehicles.

Launched last year, the Nexon facelift SUV boasts a significantly updated design and a plethora of fresh features. This achievement follows the footsteps of the pre-facelift iteration of the Nexon, which also scored a five-star rating in the Global NCAP crash test. Moreover, both the updated Tata Safari and Tata Harrier SUVs have also scored five-star ratings in Bharat NCAP crash tests.

The wide range of safety features included in the new Tata Nexon played a crucial role in securing the top rating in the GNCAP crash test. The compact SUV comes standard with six airbags, including dual front airbags, curtain and side airbags, as well as Electronic Stability Program (ESP), ISOFIX anchorages, seatbelt reminders for all occupants, reverse parking sensors, and central locking across all variants.

In addition to these standard safety features, higher and top-spec variants of the Tata Nexon SUV also come with additional passive safety features. These include a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), a blind spot-view monitor, front parking sensors, a rear-view camera, and a 360-degree camera that offers a surround view of the vehicle, making parking in tight spots a breeze.

With an unwavering commitment to safety, Tata Motors continues to lead the way in building safe and secure vehicles, reaffirming the brand’s dedication to prioritizing the well-being of its customers. This achievement solidifies Tata Motors’ position as a frontrunner in providing top-notch safety features in its vehicles.
