The significance of Gaming gaining recognition with YouTuber Triggered Insaan

New Delhi, March 8 (IANS) YouTuber and gamer Nishchay Malhan, also known as Triggered Insaan, was honored with the ‘Gaming Creator’ award at the first National Creators Award. Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Malhan at the event, highlighting the growing recognition of the gaming industry.

Malhan expressed his gratitude to PM Modi for acknowledging the Gaming Category. “Thank you PM sir for this award. I’m really nervous. I didn’t think I would have to speak here, and even I still don’t know what to say. I got an award in gaming, and thanks to that gaming is also getting recognition,” Malhan said.

Triggered Insaan launched his channel in November 2017 and has amassed over 2.5 billion views. He is known for live-streaming games like GTA 5, Minecraft, Resident Evil, FIFAe on his gaming channel, Live Insaan.

Keerthika Govindhasamy, also known as Keerthi History, who was awarded the Best Storyteller Award, touched PM Modi’s feet at the event. PM Modi expressed his discomfort with the gesture, stating that while touching feet in the field of art is different, he personally gets disturbed when daughters touch his feet.

The National Creators Award aims to recognize excellence and impact in various domains such as storytelling, social change advocacy, environmental sustainability, education, and gaming. It serves as a platform to harness creativity for positive change in society.
