Three sharpshooters of Tillu Tajpuriya gang nabbed in Delhi after exchange of fire
Three sharpshooters of Tillu Tajpuriya gang were arrested after a brief exchange of fire in Alipur area on the outskirts of Delhi. The arrested trio were identified as Rohit a.k.a Laddu, Mohit, and Siddharth. A manhunt is underway to nab the fourth accused, Kunal, who is still at large.
The arrests were made following a call from a woman alleging that her husband, Vikas, was shot and injured by four people from the Tillu Tajpuriya gang. The accused approached Vikas while he was seated in his car outside his chicken shop. Despite his attempts to flee, the assailants fired at him, causing a gunshot injury.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Outer, Jimmy Chiram, stated that various police teams conducted a search operation in Bakhtawarpur after spotting movement in the farms. A confrontation ensued between the police and the accused, leading to the injury and subsequent apprehension of one of them, Rohit.
The other accused attempted to escape but were pursued by the police. A second accused, Mohit, was tracked down near Janti toll where another exchange of fire took place, resulting in his arrest. The third accused, Siddharth, was also apprehended from the nearby farms. The police went to great lengths, combing a five-kilometer radius in the dark to capture the suspects.
