Three Tripura government employees suspended for involvement in political campaign

In Agartala, three Tripura government employees have been suspended for participating in political events and election campaigns, violating the model code of conduct. Partha Pratim Debroy, Rasu Chowdhury, and TSR jawan Kishan Debbarma faced suspension for their actions. The Education Department and TSR seventh battalion took action as directed by the Election Commission.
The Election Commission had previously suspended Special Police Officer Suman Hossain on April 4 for participating in election campaigns in West Tripura Parliamentary constituency. These suspensions serve as a reminder for government employees to adhere to the code of conduct during election season. Officials emphasized the importance of impartiality and neutrality in maintaining the integrity of the electoral process.
