New TikTok Trend, Dolphin Meme With ‘Symphony’ Song Is All Over The Internet

TikTok is up again with another new trend, which might look weird if you don’t know much about it.
People are sharing pictures of dolphins on their profiles with the song ‘Symphony’ playing in the background, which is sung by Clean Bandit and Zara Larsson.

Even though the song is motivational and uplifting, people are not adding captions like that—they are adding captions that are rather depressing or very emotional.
For example, texts like “I’m depressed” “I have social anxieties” and more.
These texts are very irrelevant to the picture, but people are just dropping info about themselves on the picture of the dolphin and calling it a day for the TikTok trend game.
This all started when @heirate posted a video of a dolphin that was jumping out of the water, and the song “Symphony” was used as the background.
The user added the text “I’m depressed” to this picture and the video became immensely popular because of how bizarre it was, but people also seemed to enjoy it, and hence everyone joined the bandwagon and started creating their own memes along the same lines.
The image of the dolphin is originally a painting that was painted by an artist named Christian Riese Lassen.
This artwork is known for showing beautiful underwater scenes.
Now the trend has gotten so popular, the singer of the song “Symphony,” Zara Larsson, has also joined in and posted a meme of her own as well.
Zara wrote, “What the f*** is happening?” on the video and shared it on instagram.
People on TikTok are enjoying this trend quite a bit for now.
