TikTok Trend ‘Mewing’ Is All Over Social Media, And Teachers Are Frustrated Over It

TikTok is a social media app that is mostly famous for short videos and posts that various creators post. The app generally has ongoing trends which makes it easier for creators to jump in and gain more attention their way.

TikTok is a very famous platform although it is banned in some countries including India, still, it continues to be one of the most used social media platforms.

TikTok Trend Mewing Is All Over Social Media

And through TikTok, people get to learn new things; some hacks are very useless while some might just be weird to even look at.

We have brought one of the hacks that fall in the latter category today and that is called ‘mewing’.

TikTok is mostly used by teenagers and the younger generation.

And we’re all obsessed with how we look!

According to TikTok, if people press their tongue towards the roof of their mouth it will give their jawline a sharper look.

This is currently used by students in classes and they put their fingers on their lips and point at their jawline.

When teachers ask them questions they use this tactic to get rid of answering anything in class.

The teacher also explained that when kids want to avoid answering questions, be it in class or even when asked by their parents, they resort to mewing. It is an excellent way to dodge unwanted questions.

Teachers have also opened up about this issue online. Teenagers have always been a little too difficult to handle in class; these kinds of trends also make it disrespectful for them to behave like this in front of their teachers.

Teachers are frustrated over this current trend as students are using this to be distracted in class and also not appreciate what’s going on in their class.

However, like all trends that come and go on TikTok, we hope this trend is one of them as well.
