Liv, who also works as a social event coordinator for a private family office, gained popularity on TikTok by sharing her daily food habits, recipes, and tips for staying in shape while working a full-time job. Her content included videos like how to avoid the freshman 15 and stop eating emotionally at your 9-5 job.
Liv was also known for her What I eat in a day videos and recommendations called Skinny girl essentials. After her TikTok ban, Liv felt upset and confused. She said she was trying to create an honest space for her viewers, where she could share her personal experiences with body image.
A TikTok spokesperson mentioned that her account was removed because it violated community guidelines, but Liv didn’t think her content was harmful. She explained that she understands how easily people can be influenced by societal pressures about body image and beauty, especially because she had similar struggles when she was a college student at the University of Arizona.
Liv’s content mostly focused on body image and how to stay fit. On her Amazon storefront, she linked products like protein powders, dietary supplements, and ankle weights, which fit with her fitness and weight-loss themes. She also posted many videos giving advice on how to prevent weight gain.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal on September 16, Liv talked about how important staying slim is to her. She said she works hard to maintain her looks and that her viewers want to know what she eats and how she stays in shape.
Liv explained that weight is a sensitive topic, but she believes there’s nothing wrong with her wanting to be skinny.
