Tokischa Altagracia Peralta, a famous Dominican rapper, recently made a surprising appearance at Madonna’s world tour. He joined the singer for the dance sequence of her song ‘Hung Up.’ Things took a drastic turn when they leaned towards each other and kissed, sending the crowd buzzing. The iconic performance was a part of her 12th tour leg at Madison Square Garden, New York, on January 31, 2024. The Celebration Tour started in October 2023 and will end in April 2024.
Tokischa is from the Dominican Republic and first came into the spotlight in 2018 when she released her debut song with fellow Dominican singer Tivi Gunz titled ‘Picala.’ Since then, she has worked with many great artists, including J Balvin, Rosalia, and Marshmello, to name a few. Madonna is friends with her and has performed in many live shows with her in the past.

Tokischa is 27 years old and was born in Los Frailes, a neighborhood in east Santo Domingo. Producer Raymi Paulus scouted her when she was in her early teens. Later, she appeared in a photo shoot with a local magazine. According to the news, that is how her career in the music industry kickstarted. She often infuses her culture and heritage beats into the music lyrics and style.
As for Madonna, she is no stranger to kissing fellow performers on stage in front of a live audience. Back in 2003, she made global headlines when she kissed singers Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears on stage during their performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. Also, to celebrate her 64th birthday, she posted a picture on her social media account where she can be seen kissing two ladies at the back of the car in Italy.
