In the month of November, Maruti Suzuki Baleno was the most sought after hatchback segment. A total of 17,872 units of Baleno were sold in November, while 21,971 units were sold in October. In such month-on-month sales, there was a decline of about 19 percent. The price of Maruti Baleno starts at Rs 5.63 lakh and its top variant costs Rs 8.96 lakh.

The Baleno BS6 has been launched in variants such as Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. The Baleno has been launched with the BS6 compliant 1.2 liter petrol engine as well as the 1.2 liter dual jet petrol engine, which has a 5 speed gearbox. Hyundai i20 increased demand

Toyota Glanza
Toyota Glanza is also a major player in the hatchback segment. Toyota Glanza sold a total of 2428 units in November, while 2978 units were sold in October. The Glanza is available only in petrol engines. Speaking of space, Glanza comes with a large and spacious cabin. Its starting price starts at Rs 7.08 lakh and goes up to 9.03 lakh.
