The Toyota Innova Hycross is all set to get the new GX (O) trim on the petrol version. Toyota Kirloskar Motor will soon launch a new top-spec petrol variant for the popular MPV model.
The new GX (O) variant will offer a dual-tone interior, a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, and more. It will be available in both seven and eight-seater configurations, enhancing the overall driving experience.
With two engine options including a 2.0-litre petrol engine and a hybrid option, the Hycross delivers a powerful performance. The GX (O) trim is expected to come at a premium of about ₹50,000 over the current top-spec variant.
In terms of competition, the Toyota Innova Hycross does not have a direct rival in the premium MPV segment. However, it competes with three-row SUVs like the Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari, and MG Hector Plus. Car enthusiasts can expect the new variant to hit the market in early April to meet the high demand for the MPV.
