Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor debuts in India with prices beginning at ₹7.73 lakh

Toyota has unveiled its new Urban Cruiser Taisor, featuring a bold redesign and updated features. The subcompact SUV boasts a distinctive front grille, new LED DRLs, restyled alloy wheels, and tweaked LED taillights for a stylish appearance.
Inside, the Taisor offers a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-tone cabin treatment, automatic climate control, connected car technology, and more. It also includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a 360-degree camera, head-up display, cruise control, and rear AC vents for comfort.
Under the hood, the Taisor is powered by a choice of 1.2-litre naturally aspirated or 1.0-litre turbo petrol engines. The 1.2 engine delivers 89 bhp and 113 Nm of torque, while the turbocharged unit produces 99 bhp and 148 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual or AMT for the naturally aspirated engine and a 6-speed torque converter for the turbo petrol.
Competing against rivals like the Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Hyundai Venue, and Tata Nexon, the Taisor offers a strong lineup of features and performance. Pricing for the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, a similar model, ranges from ₹7.51 lakh to ₹9.72 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
