Toyota Urban Cruiser vs Hyundai Venue: Price & Specification Comparison

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor, a rebadged Maruti Suzuki Fronx, has been launched in India’s compact segment, following the Suzuki-Toyota global agreement. The crossover enters a competitive market, competing with Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, among others.

Priced between ₹7.73 lakh and ₹13.03 lakh (ex-showroom), the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor goes head-to-head with the Hyundai Venue, priced between ₹7.94 lakh and ₹13.48 lakh (ex-showroom). The Taisor offers two petrol engine options – a 1.2-litre and a 1.0-litre turbocharged motor, with transmission options including a five-speed manual, AMT, and six-speed automatic gearbox.

On the other hand, the Hyundai Venue is available in petrol and diesel variants. The Venue offers a 1.2-litre petrol engine, a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Transmission options range from a five-speed manual to a seven-speed DCT, catering to different power and torque requirements.
