Tripura’s CM Inaugurates State’s First Vidya Samiksha Kendra to Enhance Education Standards

Agartala, March 13 (IANS) – Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha launched the state’s first Vidya Samiksha Kendra (VSK) in Agartala to enhance education with the support of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The centre, envisioned by the Union Education Ministry, aims to improve educational outcomes through real-time monitoring.

The Vidya Samiksha Kendra, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Gujarat in 2022, will digitize educational data for stakeholders to track progress and drive improvements. It will serve as an institutional framework for informed decision-making in education.

Chief Minister Saha highlighted the importance of the initiative, citing Prime Minister Modi’s inspiration from Gujarat. He distributed Android tablets to education staff, emphasized student-centric benefits, and praised Tripura’s literacy rate growth.

The Vidya Samiksha Kendra is expected to raise educational standards to global levels and empower administrators and teachers with AI-driven insights for better academic performance and resource utilization. It signifies a significant step towards transforming education in Tripura.
