Triumph Rocket 3 Storm R & GT Launched with 180 bhp, Priced at ₹21.99 lakh

Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled blacked-out versions of the Rocket 3 R and Rocket 3 GT bikes. The motorcycles will come in three colour options and feature various blacked-out elements such as the intake cover, exhaust headers, and rear frame forging among others. Both bikes will retain the same 2,458 cc, 3-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, but the power output has been increased to 180 bhp and torque output to 225 Nm.

The Rocket 3 bikes will come equipped with a 6-speed gearbox, while a quickshifter will be offered as an option. The design of the 16-inch rear and 17-inch front wheels has been updated to include ten spokes and they are now made of aluminium to reduce unsprung mass. Features on offer include a TFT screen, cornering ABS, traction control, riding modes, LED lighting with DRL, Hill Hold Control, Cruise Control, Keyless Ignition, Backlit switches, and a USB charging port. The GT variant also includes heated grips.

In addition, Triumph is offering a tyre pressure monitoring system and Bluetooth connectivity module as optional accessories. The updated Rocket 3 R and Rocket 3 GT are expected to appeal to riders looking for a powerful and feature-packed cruiser. The blacked-out elements add a touch of aggression to the design, enhancing the overall aesthetics of the motorcycles.
