Twitch streamer Zavian Jones Arrested on Human Trafficking Charges and Engaging in Sexual Activities with Minors
Former Twitch streamer Zavian Jones, popularly known as ‘WaterHimself’, was recently indicted by a grand jury on multiple counts of abusing minors, including kids as young as 12 and 16, as well as human trafficking.
On January 22, he was arrested by the Indiana State Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which issued an out-of-state warrant on his house.
Zavian Jones arrested on human trafficking charges
He first came into the limelight for role-playing as a child named Jojo in GTA RP servers. According to a news post, the ex-streamer has been accused of multiple instances of inappropriate contact with underage kids.
The charges he faces include four counts of procuring a minor by electronic means, human trafficking of a victim under 12, and the use of a minor under 16 in a sexual performance. The crimes took place between October 1 and November 7, 2023. After his arrest, he was taken to Wells County Jail to await extradition to Kentucky.
Just a few days prior, a true bill was returned on the charges against Zavian Jones, indicating the Grand Jury found sufficient evidence against him.
According to Kentucky laws, human trafficking of underage kids is regarded as a Class B felony in the state. The accused faces prison time of 10-20 years.
As the news started to dominate the media, Twitch banned him from using their platform. Currently, his account reads:
“This channel is currently unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.”
Zavian Jones, famously known by his online alias WaterHimself or KING H2O, is a renowned Twitch streamer and American YouTuber. He used to play Grand Theft Auto Roleplay impersonations. On his YouTube channel, he has over 20,000 subscribers and over 1 million views.
