Twitch Updates Online Sexual Policy Again, Creators Showing ‘Intimate’ Body Parts Will Be Banned

Twitch is an Amazon-owned streaming platform, which let creators stream their lives online and make money out of it. The platform hosts a wide range of creators with diverse content.

But since last year, Twitch has been in a state of remorse because of the amount of new rules that are being introduced to this platform.

The biggest drawback Twitch faced was when they stopped “artistic nudity” on their platform; they banned and flagged all the content which was merely sexual, that also included art.

Their post stated,

“Starting on Friday, March 29th, content that focuses on intimate body parts for a prolonged period will not be allowed.”

Twitch Updates It’s Online Sexual Policy

The small creators and even viewers who used to refer to those videos as educational revolted back.

Now, Twitch is implementing new rules.

Loads of users and creators online are focusing on their intimate parts while streaming, referred to as, “intimate body parts.”

Even when they’re fully clothed, focusing on their chest or buttocks has been a common thing.

Not only that, there are streamers who stream their video games and have green screens that feature buttocks or groin.

According to Twitch’s new security policy, all of these streams that showcase scenes like this will be banned from March 29, 2024.

Twitch has implemented that anything that is getting discussed on the intimate region of a person, even if they’re clothed or not talking about anything sexual, will be banned.
