Two aides of gangsters arrested in Punjab

In a major breakthrough, Punjab Police arrests two associates linked with notorious gang members, Gurpreet Lehmbar and Jassa Nurwala. The accused, Jagdeep Singh and Balwinder Singh, are involved in various serious crimes in multiple regions including Ludhiana, Jagraon, Moga, Bathinda, and Sangrur.

Jagdeep Singh, alias Rinku, had a pending attempt to murder case in Moga, while Balwinder Singh, alias Babbu, was on the run since firing at a Special Task Force team in Ludhiana. The two have a history of criminal activities and were reportedly operating under the instructions of Lehmbar and Nurwala.

The arrests were made following an intensive investigation, which led to the recovery of two pistols and 10 cartridges from the accused. The gang has been known for their involvement in murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, and extortion activities, spreading fear in the mentioned areas of Punjab.

The Punjab Police have taken a substantial step towards curbing the menace of these criminal activities by apprehending these associates. The ongoing investigation aims to track down other members of the gang and dismantle their operations effectively.
