Two members of the Gogi and Dinesh Karala gangs arrested in Delhi

The Delhi Police’s Special Cell has successfully arrested two members of the notorious Jitender Gogi and Dinesh Karala gang in separate operations. The arrested individuals have been identified as Rahul aka Motu and Naveen aka Sonu.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Special Cell, Manoj C. shared that Rahul, who had been on the run since December 24, 2020, was apprehended from Samrat Ashok Chowk, Rohini. Naveen, previously incarcerated for robbery and Arms Act violations, was arrested from Rohini as well.

The arrests were made after specific information indicated their involvement in illicit activities at the direction of the Gogi-Dinesh Karala gang. The gang was actively recruiting new members to carry out illegal operations, including the elimination of a member of the Sonu Daryapur gang under the directives of Jitender, alias Bantu.

DCP Manoj C. expressed concerns about the newly-recruited members being utilized to eliminate rival gang members or their supporters. The police team intensified their efforts and successfully apprehended Naveen on April 5 from Rohini.

Efforts to dismantle gangs and prevent violent activities remain a top priority for the Delhi Police’s Special Cell. The arrest of Rahul and Naveen is a significant step towards disrupting the operations of the Jitender Gogi and Dinesh Karala gang in the region.
