Universities in MP will not suffer due to lack of funds: CM Mohan Yadav

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh has declared that improving higher education in the state will be his government’s top priority. Speaking at a seminar on India’s New Education Policy-2020 in Bhopal, Yadav emphasized the importance of quality education for the youth. He assured that universities in Madhya Pradesh will not suffer due to lack of funds and encouraged high-level research and healthy competition among universities.

Yadav, a former Higher Education Minister, stressed the need for students to compete with top universities in the country through research. He also suggested the inclusion of private institutions to promote a competitive environment. The two-day seminar, attended by Vice Chancellors of over 65 universities and 500 educationists, aims to discuss and implement strategies to enhance the education sector in Madhya Pradesh.

With a focus on fostering a culture of research and academic excellence, Chief Minister Yadav’s commitment to prioritizing education reflects the government’s dedication to ensuring quality higher education for the youth of Madhya Pradesh. The seminar serves as a platform for stakeholders to collaborate and innovate in advancing the education landscape of the state.
