Unveiling of Citroen C3X Imminent? New Teaser Suggests Honda City competitor on the way
Citroen India is set to launch its fourth product in the country, the Citroen C3X, which is a crossover between a sedan and a coupe SUV. The new teaser released by the automaker hints at the imminent arrival of this new offering based on the C-Cubed platform specifically developed for the Indian market.
The Citroen C3X will feature prominent styling cues like the split headlamp design from the C3 family, lift-style door handles, a raked C-pillar, and a notchback-styled boot. The interior is expected to include components from the C3 family, with a large touchscreen infotainment system, cube-like air-con vents, and a digital instrument console.
Powered by a 1.2-litre turbo petrol PureTech engine generating 108 bhp and 190 Nm of torque, the C3X is aimed at the compact sedan segment, competing against models like the Hyundai Verna, Honda City, and Volkswagen Virtus. With unique design features and an aggressive price tag, Citroen aims to make a mark in this competitive segment.
Citroen India’s focus on making the C3X more feature-rich compared to the C3 hatchback and C3 Aircross SUV indicates their commitment to addressing customer feedback. The crossover sedan is expected to offer a blend of SUV properties with sedan qualities to cater to the diverse needs of Indian customers. Stay tuned for more details on this upcoming launch.
