Unveiling the 2025 Triumph Trident 660 Triple Tribute Edition: What Makes it Special?

Triumph has recently unveiled the 2025 Trident 660 Triple Tribute Edition for the global market. This special edition motorcycle pays homage to the legendary ‘Slippery Sam’ and will be available for sale only for a year. The bike features a unique graphic scheme inspired by the Isle of Man TT wins from 1971 to 1975.

The Triple Tribute Edition sports a distinctive white, black, and blue color scheme with red accents and race-inspired graphics. It also comes equipped with Triumph Shift-Assist, a flyscreen, and a belly pan as standard features. Despite these cosmetic updates, there are no changes to the powertrain of the motorcycle.

Powered by a 660cc, liquid-cooled, in-line triple-cylinder engine, the Trident 660 produces 79 bhp of power at 10,250 rpm and 63 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. The bike rides on a tubular steel perimeter frame with 41 mm up-side down forks in the front and a monoshock at the rear, both sourced from Showa.

The suspension setup includes separate function forks at the front and an RSU unit with preload adjustment at the rear. The Trident 660 sits on 17-inch aluminum wheels shod with 120/70 tire in the front and a 180/55 tire at the rear. Braking duties are handled by Nissin two-piston sliding calipers with twin 310 mm discs at the front and a Nissin single-piston sliding caliper with a single 255 disc at the rear.

Overall, the 2025 Triumph Trident 660 Triple Tribute Edition brings a fresh aesthetic appeal while retaining the performance and handling characteristics of the standard model. This limited-edition offering is sure to attract motorcycle enthusiasts looking for a unique and eye-catching ride on the streets.
