UP Government to release documentary showcasing Ayodhya’s transformation

In a landmark development, the Yogi Adityanath-led government in Uttar Pradesh is set to release a documentary film showcasing the transformation of Ayodhya. This initiative is part of the ‘Ayodhya Vision 2047’ document, highlighting the urban rejuvenation of the city. The documentary will cover the historical, cultural, and infrastructural aspects of Ayodhya.

The documentary, being created by the local development authority, aims to present Ayodhya’s journey post the Ram Mandir verdict by the Supreme Court. It will include shots and archival footage capturing the city’s progress, leading up to the recent Pran Pratishtha ceremony in January. The film will be a comprehensive case study of the city’s development.

Divisional Commissioner of Ayodhya, Gaurav Dayal, revealed that around Rs 40,000 crore has been invested in various development projects since the Ram temple verdict. Over 350 projects by 40 different departments are either completed or in progress, with the goal of establishing Ayodhya as a premier global tourism destination in the next two decades. The documentary will shed light on these initiatives.

The film will not only focus on the city’s rich history and cultural significance but will also delve into the ongoing infrastructure development. Interviews with officials, residents, and pilgrims, along with coverage of cultural events and fairs, will add depth to the documentary. The agency responsible for this project will ensure that the content aligns with the overall theme of urban transformation in Ayodhya.

With a budget of Rs 20 lakh allocated by the local development authority, the documentary is expected to have a runtime of at least 30 minutes. It will incorporate graphics, infographics, animation, and images to enhance viewer engagement. The agency finalization process is underway, and the documentary is anticipated to be a comprehensive representation of Ayodhya’s progress.
