UP Schools Closed in Ghaziabad and Noida Till January 14

With the rise in cold waves, schools in Noida and Ghaziabad have closed till 14th January for classes from 1st to 8th. The decision has been taken for the well-being of kids due to the extreme weather conditions. According to the statement, the government has issued a circular regarding the closure of primary, secondary, council, and Sanskrit along with institutions that is affiliated with UP, ICSE and CBSE schools.

Talking about the classes from 9th to 12th, their time has been changed to provide some relief to the students. As per the statement, the timing for the classes of 9th to 12th has been changed to 10 am to 2 pm in the afternoon till January 14, 2023

“We have implemented the order of closure of classes till class 8 till January 14, said Dharamveer Singh DIOS GB Nagar. Further, DIOS Ghaziabad Rajesh Sruvas has confirmed that the “change in timings for senior classes of 9 to 12 will continue till January 14”.

School Closure in Various Parts of Uttar Pradesh including Noida

As the cold weather seems to be getting more worse, many states in the northern part of India had decided to close all types of schools till the 14th of January. Earlier the decision was made till 7th January and now it is shifted to 14th. The concerned officials said the holiday has been announced in every Government as well as private schools in rural and urban cities because of the cold winter and dense fog alert. The circular is only applicable for the students till class 12th, the rest of the organisations and colleges will work at their usual time. Apart from Noida, Ghaziabad and Lucknow, other parts of UP such as Sitapur, Gorakhpur and Varanasi to name a few have also closed their schools till class 8th due to cold waves alert by the IMD.
