The aftermath of Tasha’s attendance has led to a heated online exchange between the two creators, drawing significant attention from their followers and the wider TikTok community.
Tasha Paige, an Australian internet personality known for her modeling and fashion content, attended the funeral and gave a speech that has since been widely criticized.
Kimberley shared a screenshot of a text conversation between her and Tasha, in which Tasha apologized for any inappropriate or insensitive behavior.
Tasha’s text read,
“I’m sorry for getting so drunk yesterday. I think the lack of food & shots etc knocked me on my a*s i’m sorry if I was inappropriate or insensitive in anyway as it wasn’t my intention.”
In response, Kimberley accused Tasha of having “ruin[ed] my son’s funeral.”
The situation escalated further when Kimberley posted a video of Tasha’s speech at the funeral. In the video, Tasha can be seen acknowledging that she “never got the pleasure to meet Cash because of my current circumstances, as Veruca knows.”
She continued by praising Kimberley’s nurturing instincts as a mother, but her remarks took an unsettling turn when she added, “may him live with like forever lasting p—y and peace.”
The speech, coupled with Tasha’s reportedly intoxicated state and other inappropriate behaviours at the funeral, such as discussing personal topics and making crude comments, has led to widespread backlash. Tasha Paige has since turned off the comments on some of her videos due to the criticism she has faced online.
In a further development, Kimberley shared additional details about Tasha’s behaviour at the funeral on her Instagram account. She revealed that Tasha had brought her favourite alcohol to the funeral and ended up doing shots, stating,
“So the entire funeral she is following me around and being extremely inappropriate. I’m outside in the backyard with some people and she’s on the floor in a mini skirt, legs spread talking about getting cream pied.”
Tasha Paige, in her defence, has posted a TikTok video and an Instagram story addressing the controversy. In her TikTok, she claimed to be aware of her mistakes and stated,
“I’m aware of my mistakes, I’m OK with myself, I’ve forgiven myself so it’s all good. What do you want me to do? I’ve said sorry.”
Additionally, Tasha Paige accused Kimberley of racism in her video and seemed to aim her Instagram story at the ongoing drama, writing, “proof no one’s perfect everyone makes mistakes.”
As the drama continues to unfold, followers of both creators remain engaged, waiting to see how the situation will develop.
The public nature of their dispute has highlighted the complexities of navigating personal grief and public personas on social media platforms.
