Vice President Kamala Harris Is Capitalizing On Taylor Swift’s Endorsement, Announce Friendship Bracelet Sales
In a decisive move Vice President Kamala Harris is capitalizing on Taylor Swift’s endorsement following her recent debate with Donald Trump and has announced the Kamala Harris and Tim Walz friendship bracelet sales. According to CNN, Kamala Harris has become the preferred choice among undecided voters in Pennsylvania after her strong performance in the debate against Donald Trump.
Taylor Swift who was earlier also known as a Democratic Party supporter announced her support for Harris on social media, stating,
“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”
To hammer home her conviction for endorsing the Democratic Presidential candidate Swift signed her post as a “childless cat lady.”
After Taylor’s endorsement of her Instagram handle Harris campaign responded with a post on X, saying, “Ready for it,”
It was a reference to one of Swift’s hits.
Harris’ campaign managers were quick to capitalize on Swift’s endorsement and unveiled a new line of merchandise, including Harris-Walz friendship bracelets inspired by Swift’s “The Eras” tour.
The merchandise are being promoted on the Kamala Harris’ campaign’s official website with the slogan,
“Are you ready for it? Harris-Walz friendship bracelets are here.”
Also, Harris and her husband, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff participated in the official campaign debate watch party and when they left the stage Taylor Swift’s “The Man” number was playing in the background.
Even prior to Swift’s endorsement on Tuesday, Republicans and MAGA supporters have been trolling her for her political leanings. Trump himself attacked Taylor for her views and perhaps Trump’s campaign team are aware of the leverage which Taylor wields in what many experts are describing will be a closely fought race.
Trump’s campaign team also posted fake AI generated images which depict Swift fans to be supporting Trump. After Taylor’s endorsement, Trump in his reaction said that it is one more proof that Kamala Harris represents the elite and not the common man.
Campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said,
“President Trump will fight for the American worker, the struggling family who can’t afford grocery and gas, and the angel families who are losing their loved ones on Kamala’s open border.”
Taylor Swift was also criticized by left-leaning fans after she embraced her pal Brittany Mahomes at the U.S. Open this weekend. Incidentally, Mahomes liked pro-Donald Trump posts online.
