Video of Intimate Scenes of Divya Prabha From “All We Imagine As Light” Reportedly Leaked Online, Draw Widespread Attention
“Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine As Light has been hailed as a film of unparalleled cinematic brilliance, but the film is now in the news for the unsavoury instance of its intimate scenes being leaked on social media platforms such as X and Reddit.
Intimate scenes of the lead actress from the film have been leaked online and gone viral.
For the unversed, Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine As Light is a classic Indian movie that bagged the prestigious Grand Prix at the 77th Cannes 2024.
The much-acclaimed film saw a theatrical release on November 22, 2024, across India and featured Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, and Chhaya Kadam in the lead roles.
The film, which was released earlier in Kerala on September 21, 2024, under the Malayalam title Prabhayay Ninachathellam, has been hailed by critics as a poignant and deeply touching portrayal of life in Mumbai. It also explores intricate and multifarious subjects through a persuasively touching narrative.

Social media platforms are flooded with one particular scene, which has since gone viral.
The scenes depict nudity and explicit moments, and the most searched scene is one where Divya Prabha is changing clothes before a mirror, followed by a torrid lovemaking sequence in a forest.
However, it is to the credit of the moviemakers, who have handled the scenes with sensitivity, and even critics have unanimously agreed that the scenes were a necessity in certain situations.
The scene also features Kani Kusruti, and she is portrayed in a naturalistic context involving n*dity. However, the scenes, even though part of the film’s narrative, are being seen as gratuitous and titillating additions.
The film has been released with an Adults Only (A) rating in India, and the scenes, which include a couple of bold kissing scenes and a prolonged lovemaking sequence, have not been censored by the CBFC.
Divya Prabha also addressed the huge ruckus thrown up by the intimate scenes in All We Imagine As Light.
In a special interview with ETV Bharat, Divya Prabha affirmed that there is a stark contrast between how the film was received at the Cannes festival and the treatment the film received in India. She also stated that she was ready for the backlash in India since the Indian audience is still not ready to digest nudity and intimacy on screen.
Prabha added:
“I did not expect Cannes, but I did expect this. When I heard the script, I knew there would be controversy. It will take time for the system and mindset here to change.”
