A video which showed US President Donald Trump fiddling with a bottle of water at the National Association of Black Journalists’ convention in Chicago Wednesday has since gone viral.
The video also had many asking questions as to why Trump was venting his anger on the water bottle after ABC’s Rachel Scott asked a prickly question.

The incident led to a meme festival with many users asking questions.
A user sharing the video wrote,
“Why did Donald Trump mess with Rachel’s water bottle? Was he upset with her questions? Did he think tightening the lid would stop her from asking questions?”
Another user posted,
“Did Donald Trump ‘steal’ a journalist’s water bottle with no intention to drink?”
Another user said, “Donald Trump was angry they didn’t give him a water bottle so he took hers, but he is right there on the table to his right; he didn’t notice it. This is his second Watergate event,”
Another commented,
“Racist Donald Trump was seen grabbing a black female journalist’s bottle of water and tightening the cap after she turned around.”
As the video went viral, many posts attracted community notes by X which stated that Trump picked the bottle and tried to open it, but then kept it back as he was answering questions.
During the course of the interview, Trump again picked up a bottle and consumed water, but this time it was not a bottle meant for him.
Trump, true to his true self, never enjoyed a good rapport with the fourth pillar of democracy.
This time also he clashed with the journalists, first slamming the journalists for being late.
His belligerent attitude did not stop, and the next missive he shot was, “He does not know the ethnicity of Kamala Harris, whether she is Indian or Black.” He followed it with another salvo—Kamala Harris passed her bar exam. Trump continued his blitzkrieg and said that millions of people across the border will take up ‘Black jobs’.
