WATCH VIDEO: Faridabad Police Issues Ticket Against Influencer Rajat Dalal For Rash And Negligent Driving After He Knocks Down Biker

The Faridabad Police have issued a ticket against social media influencer Rajat Dalal for rash and negligent driving after a video which became viral showed him knocking down a biker with his speeding SUV.

The video was apparently shot near the NHPC Metro Station and it has spawned intense debate and outrage on social media.

Rajat Dalal – Synonyms To Controversy

Rajay Dalal is no stranger to controversy and is well known for his provocative content. The latest video which shows the influencer driving more than 140 k.m.p.h on a busy highway has drawn condemnation and Dalal has been accused of endangering the lives of the public with his reckless actions.

His woman co-passenger repeatedly warned him to drive slowly but her pleas fell on deaf ears.  Moments later, he hits a biker but shows no remorse.

The co-passenger who was terrified said that the biker had fallen down. However Rajat Dalal replies indifferently,

“Wo gir gaya, koi baat nahi. Roz ka yahi kaam hai mera ma’am.” (He fell down, it’s no big deal. It’s my daily routine).

This shocking video which was shot by a passenger in the back seat, has been widely shared on social media, particularly on platform X.

Netizens have derided the actions of the social influencer and are demanding his arrest. Strangely no formal police complaint has been lodged against the influencer despite the video’s circulation and public outcry.

Social media users have widely shared the video and have also tagged the police departments of Delhi, Faridabad, and Gurugram, demanding action against the influencer.

The video is another example of reckless driving and the lack of accountability for such actions.

The video was first shared by activist Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj on her X account.

The Faridabad police quickly took note and sought further details about the incident.

The Deputy Commissioner of Faridabad responded to the video and said,

“Please share your contact number via Direct Message. Thank you.”

In response to this one X user commented

“Customer care pe complain thodi kari hai. Ek crime report kiya gaya hai is video mein.”

To this the Deputy Commissioner of Faridabad’s X account replied promptly, clarifying,

“We know that no complaint has been lodged with customer care. That is why we are trying to find out the date of the incident and let us tell you that the location of the incident has been traced. Thank you.”

The video was also shared by journalist and fact-checker Mohammed Zubair, has got over 268K views, and many comments.

Deputy Commissioner of Faridabad has responded to Zubair’s post also and said,

“This video has come to the notice of the district administration and Faridabad police. Although no complaint has been made to the police in this matter. But the police administration has taken cognizance of this incident on its own and started action. The investigation is going on. Strict action will be taken against the culprit.”

Many Netizens have also reacted to the video and expressed their anger

One X user said,

“Strong action should be taken against this. Humanity has vanished from people like these.”

Another X user commented,

“This is a clear case of overspending and hit and run. What’s tragic is he had no remorse.”

Another user said,

“This man is a menace to society. He has done so many unlawful activities while on camera yet no significant action has been taken against him. Is this some kind of joke? Is he too strong for the police to do anything against him or are they waiting for something serious to happen? He could literally have killed that guy and he was totally unfazed,”

Incidentally, Aditya Chauhan, a lawyer from Delhi, has filed a written complaint against Dalal with the Delhi traffic police.
