Watch Video: Lukas Gage’s Classy Comeback to Director’s Insult Caught on Zoom Resurfaces in Media

Back in the year 2020, Lukas Gage was auditioning for an acting role from his home due to the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown.

He was on a video conference with the audition members and chatting with them.

While one of the panelists, Tristram Shapeero, made a demeaning and striking remark about Lukas’ home. He said,

“These poor people who live in these tiny apartments… I’m looking at his background and he’s got his TV and …”

He did not realize his microphone was on, and Lukas Gage heard everything he was saying.

Upon hearing this, Lukas reacted, and instead of boiling over, he simply accepted that he lives in a 4×4 house and asked Tristram to give him the role so that he could afford better living conditions.

Tristram later apologized to Lukas for his remarks, but Lukas continued to make his point about the role.

Back then, Lukas already had a small role in 4 episodes of HBO’s famous show, Euphoria.

But even after that, it was difficult for the freelance actor to make ends meet.

Lukas later shared the video of the disturbing exchange on social media, and it went viral.

In the video, Lukas laughed, seeming sporty about it, and later shared the recording of the meeting while opening up about people talking trash and forgetting to mute their meetings.

Netizens weren’t happy with Tristram’s remarks about Lukas. Currently, the video is seeing a surge online, with people still seemingly unhappy about how actors are downplayed these days by their management and so on.
