The venue was Samay Raina’s popular YouTube show, India’s Got Latent, and Priyanka Halder was participating on the show as a model for a friend who is an attire cutter. The show was being judged by comedian Bharti Singh, her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa, and singer Tony Kakkar.
Priyanka Halder’s Costume-Cutting Act on India’s Got Latent Sparks Controversy
A video showing Priyanka Halder posing in a red body-hugging dress while her friend, Adil Mohd, made it into a cut-out design was posted on the social media platform Instagram on the handle ‘Indiasgotlatent.’ The costume-cutting process lasted for almost a minute.
So far so good, but things went awry when it was discovered that Priyanka Halder is married and has a 15-year-old son. This irked a section of social media users who started trolling her. While some netizens called her act inappropriate, others went a step further, accusing her of being a failed mother, daughter, and wife. A few even went to the extent of calling her unfaithful and cheating on her husband with her friend. The video has since gone viral and has already garnered more than 2 million views.

“She failed as a wife and a woman, while the audience failed as humans. This incident underscores the importance of setting boundaries.”
Another user commented:
“She is a B-grade actress from Alt Balaji, and it’s confirmed. There is no point in talking again. If her husband does not care about this, then why would he care about her act?”
