Viksit Bharat Ambassador Ashwini Vaishnaw Discusses Rapid Growth Over the Past Decade.
In the Viksit Bharat Ambassadors meet-up program, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighted India’s growth journey in the last 10 years under PM Modi’s leadership. From ‘Fragile Five to Top Five Economies’, the growth is credited to public investment, inclusive growth, simplification of goals, and manufacturing push.
Vaishnaw emphasized the significant increase in railway track construction and electrification and the rise in prestigious institutions like AIIMs, IITs, and IIMs. He also mentioned the transformative impact of initiatives like Swachchta Yojana and Jan Dhan accounts, lifting millions out of poverty and providing essential resources.
Simplification of processes in sectors like Telecom and Law has been a key contributor to the growth. The Minister highlighted the repeal of over 1,500 laws and the enactment of a new Telecom law, showcasing the government’s focus on progress through planning and execution.
Vaishnaw stressed the importance of a change in mindset towards indigenous production and capacity building. He commended PM Modi’s vision of making India a global manufacturing hub through initiatives like Make in India, leading the country towards success in various sectors including technology.
The Minister also lauded the revival of India’s cultural consciousness under the Modi government, emphasizing the need to take pride in Indian culture for the nation to thrive. The event showcased India’s remarkable growth under the leadership of PM Modi, setting the country on a path towards new milestones.
