In the end, Lord Shankar got angry and cut off the child’s head with his trident.

Due to this Mother, Parvati got angry and assumed the form of Jagadamba. The frightened gods, on the advice of Devarshinarada, praised Jagadamba and consoled Jagadamba. On the instructions of Shiva, Vishnu brought the head of the first animal (elephant) from the north side.

Mrityunjay Rudra revived the child by placing the head of the elephant on the child’s body. Mother Parvati embraced the harsh face of Harshatrik and blessed him to be one of the deities.
