The rapper came forward, stating, “Yailin is not well; she needs help,” addressing his millions of followers. Speculation arises about Yailin suffering from postpartum depression, possibly explaining her erratic behavior. In the viral video, she can be seen attacking the rapper with a knife or, in some videos, with a blunt object, attempting to physically harm him.

In one of the viral videos, she can seen bypassing a security guard with a knife. She was trying to get to the rapper while screaming. One of the users commented under the video “Men can be the victims of domestic abuse also”.

According to news reports, 911 responded to a domestic violence call, informed by the caller (the victim) that he and his girlfriend had been engaged in verbal fights throughout the day. The primary cause appeared to be Yailin’s suspicion that he had been looking at other women.

Tekashi 6ix9ine even tried to control the situation by leaving the house for her to cool down but that made the matter worse. She tried to physically abuse him with blunt objects.

Yailin’s attorney Lorenzo Perez stated that the bond for her release has been paid and hoping the charges against her will be dropped. “This case will be resolved positively, I’m sure, especially when the victim in this case, Mr. Hernandez, is asking the prosecution to drop the case, and he’s also here waiting to make sure everything’s going smoothly for my client to be released,” Perez said.
