Virat Kohli Tattoos and Their Hidden Meaning [2022]

Virat has one tattoo of a Golden eye on his left shoulder. She explained the meaning behind it in an interview, he stated-  “I call it the God’s eye. So, basically, the all-seeing eye. That everything that’s happening is being watched and there’s someone always keeping a count of everything that you do.”

“So that makes you feel connected in a way and also, that makes you understand the essence of life and what we need to do as human beings and what our eventual goal is,” reported BodyArtGuru.

Another tattoo of Virat is a Japanese Samurai warrior figure with raised sword. He got it inked on his upper left arm. As per sources, this is his favourite tattoo. He believes this is where he gets all the strength. Plus, the tattoo also tells a tale of the samurai’s self-discipline and loyalty. 

Virat got 175 number inked on his left arm. It’s his ODI  cap number. The iconic cricketer helped his team to win U-19 World Cup. He made his international debut against the Sri Lanka team in 2008. 

He also has 269 numbers inked on his left arm, his test cap number. He made his test debut in 2011 against West Indies. Kohli said “These numbers will always remain with me because when you look back at the charts 200 years from now, in front of these numbers, there will be my name. These will always be special numbers and hence I decided to get them.”

Virat also got his parents’ names tattooed too. His father’s name Prem on his left hand. He lost his father back in 2006. While his mother’s name Saroj on his upper left arm. 

He has a tattoo of Lord Shiva on his left arm. It shows shive meditating on mount Kailash. Kohli is a strong believer in Lord Shiva.
