Vivo X80 Series will debut in the Indian markets today and will be rubbing shoulders with the premium smartphones of its genre like the Realme GT2 Pro, iQoo 9 Pro, and OnePlus 10 Pro.

Vivo X80 Series is being promoted as a new series of flagship devices in its quest to expand its smartphone lineup in India. The Chinese Smartphone giant is all set to launch two iteration of its Vivo X80 series in India, the Vivo X80 and X80 Pro 5G handsets which will be launched today at a virtual event in the afternoon.

The launch can be viewed live stream on the official website and the official youtube channel. The two smartphones have already been launched in China a month ago and these two premium smartphones are on their way to the Indian markets.

The two new smartphones have features which will make it at par with other smartphones in this segment like the Realme GT2 Pro, iQoo 9 Pro, OnePlus 10 Pro and even the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. Both the smartphones are expected to carry the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset under its hood.

Vivo X80 Series Price And Availability

The Vivo X80 Series Price has not been revealed by the Chinese OEM but it will be revealed during the launch event. The device will be available on Flipkart and consumers can watch the launch event live stream on the e-commerce site as well. The Flipkart listing has also exposed some important specifications of both devices.

Vivo X80 Series Expected Specifications

The Vivo X80 Series boasts a 6.78-inch full HD+ AMOLED display. It is also rumored that a variant with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor, backed with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage will also be available.

As is the norm today the device will carry a triad camera setup. The primary camera will be a 50 MP sensor along with OIS support. There will also be a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8MP periscope sensor. The an 8MP periscope sensor will enable users to achieve a 60x digital zoom. For selfies and video calls, this device will feature a 32MP front camera. The power unit is composed of a ,500mAh battery unit that will support 80W fast charging.

Vivo X80 Pro 5G Expected Specifications

Vivo X80 Pro 5G boasts the same display size as the vanilla X80 smartphone but with a better 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The device will carry under its hood a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor which will be backed by up to 12 GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.

Coming to optics the device is expected to carry a triad camera setup with the primary camera — a 50MP primary Samsung ISOCELL GNV camera, a 48MP Sony IMX598 ultra-wide lens and an 8MP periscope sensor. The Pro variant is also expected to feature the V1+ image chip for enhanced camera performance, courtesy partnership with Carl Zeiss for the Pro version. The powerplant is a 4700mAh battery which will support 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

New Delhi, April 17 (IANS) – Zoho Founder and CEO, Sridhar Vembu, revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed interest in Zoho’s rural development model in Tenkasi district, Tamil Nadu during his recent meeting. PM Modi praised the company’s efforts in creating high-tech capabilities and jobs in rural areas.

During an election rally in Ambasamudram, PM Modi met Vembu to discuss Zoho’s rural development through R&D model. Vembu expressed gratitude towards PM Modi for taking the time to understand and appreciate the company’s operations in Tenkasi as a model of rural development.

New Delhi, April 17 (IANS) Digital healthcare platform MediBuddy has announced that it has reached break-even with a marginal loss in the previous fiscal year, moving towards EBITDA neutrality. The company has seen a significant increase in its user base by 2.4 times over the last three years, serving close to 3 crore people with over 1 crore subscribers.

According to Satish Kannan, Co-founder and CEO of MediBuddy, “By leveraging technology, our platform enhances doctor-patient interactions, fueling remarkable growth and expanding healthcare access nationwide.” The company is now focusing on exploring mergers and acquisitions opportunities in key healthcare areas such as chronic disease management, mental health, diabetes, women’s care, and weight management, supported by an $18 million capital pool.

MediBuddy has a network of over 90,000 doctors across more than 22 specialities, and works with over 7,100 hospitals and clinics. The company has also onboarded over 10,000 hospitals and diagnostic centers for all radiology and pathology investigations.
