With a shocking turn of events, a video went viral on the internet featuring the fatal shooting of Abhishek Ghosalkar. The incident occurred during a Facebook livestream. According to news reports, he was the son of Vinod Ghosalkar, a prominent leader in the Shiv Sena’s UBT.

The video is currently trending on social media, garnering millions of views. The unfortunate incident happened during the Facebook livestream started by the accused Mauris Noronha.

Meanwhile, netizens have started a debate on Twitter over safety measures for politicians and renowned political leaders. According to sources, both of them allegedly had stiff power and status in their circle, mostly due to the 2018 Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections.

Abhishek Ghosalkar shot dead during a Facebook livestream 

Sanjay Raut, a political leader from Shiv Sena, posted a tweet on X stating,

“Gunda raj in Maharashtra. Mauris Noronha, who shot Abhishek Ghosalkar, was at Varsha was bungalow four days ago. The Chief Minister met him. Morrish was invited to join the Shinde Sena. Fadnavis is a complete failure as Home Minister. Resign!”

The livestream as well as the shooting happened in Mauris Noronha’s office in IC Colony in the northern suburb of Borivali (West). The viral clip shows Abhishek being shot in the shoulder and abdomen. Mauris lives in Borivali West. He works as a social worker and aspires to win local elections.

Taking a look at his social media accounts, he has many photos and videos with notable political leaders. He and Abhishek had office spaces adjacent to one another. Sources claim that their relationship had tension due to political dominance.

Abhishek Ghosalkar was the son of Vinod Ghosalkar, a politician from Uddhav Thackrey-led Shiv Sena. He is also trending on the internet as his son was shot dead on camera. He is originally from Mumbai, Maharashtra, born on 15 August 1958.
