Internationally, World Music Day is celebrated on 21 June every year. Music Day was first celebrated in the year 1982 at Solstice in France. This Day is celebrated in 130 countries currently.

The French Ministers of Arts and Culture in 1982, Maurice Fleuret started the Fte de la Musique in Paris. He was a musician who introduced a day to celebrate music since then, music day is celebrated.
