What’s in Store at EVO 2024: Dates, Games Lineup, Tickets, Pricing, Location and Venue

EVO 2024, dubbed as the finest fighting game event, is now back and has brought in major upgrades that will enable a whole new level of playing experience. The Evolution Championship Series, which opens in Las Vegas every year, is one of the finest fighting game tournaments held continuously in the summer since 1996.

The EVO 2024 event is a chance for fighting game fans and pro players from across the globe to gather and compete on a weekend, allowing players to have fun and creating an unforgettable occasion for the past three decades.

Last year, the EVO event boasted one of the highest numbers of registered players in its entire history and led to one of the participants, ‘The Canon Brothers,’ being gifted the keys to the city of Las Vegas and also bagging the holiday, Evo Day, on August 6. This year, the EVO event promises to be a bigger and more entertaining gaming experience for the fans.

EVO 2024 lineup will feature in its Top six list of games the following titles:

Street Fighter III: Third Strike is an extension of the game featured in EVO 2023 and had garnered astounding registrations at 1,346, making it a record-breaking Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 tournament.

How to book tickets and what is the pricing?

Fans this year can get their hands on tickets for both the arena finals matches and the show floor. The events will be open on three instead of two days of EVO weekend as in past years. Fans will also get an opportunity to create their customized Evo adventures and can also shuttle between the arena and the show floor unlimited times over the weekend.

One can enlist for the event from the official EVO website. Pricing for a three-day event badge has been set at $180+$23.83 (Vegas Live Entertainment Tax and processing fee) which makes the actual amount that a fanatic needs to pay $203.23. An additional $10 will be charged for passes for each game.

Dates

This year will also see a marked departure from the past when the event was usually held in August. This year, EVO 2024 will be held on July 19-21, 2024.

Location and Venue

Also, the event will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Nevada instead of the Mandalay Resort and Casino where it was held in past years.

The EVO 2024 show floor has also been revamped and will include expanded show floor days, a special stage for panels and game reveals, and will also include the biggest free play Arcade in EVO history, on top of a cosplay contest with special guest judges.

The show floor will also feature special display boxes where fans can have photo sessions as well as a gallery that will showcase artwork from titles throughout fighting game history.
