Who Is Nallah Sutherland? Eric Adams’ Staff Criticized for Removing Israeli Hostage Posters

One of New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ staffers is in the news for all the wrong reasons. The staffer Nallah Sutherland was seen in a viral video where she was tearing down Posters of Israeli Hostages and throwing them in a trash bin.
Nallah Sutherland has been sent to undergo multicultural training for her despicable action and a note was placed on her personal file. This was revealed by the administration sources to the media house, The New York Post.
Who Is Nallah Sutherland?
Ironically Nallah Sutherland was a part of a team which was tasked to bridge cultural as well as assist in an array of initiatives which were meant to strengthen the spirit of unity and spirit of the people of New York.
Sources stated that Nallah Sutherland was not an important component of the Mayor’s team was a low-rung staffer and was not involved in directly working for New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
Nallah Sutherland 25, according to the office’s website, was assisting in organizing events which showcased the diverse ethnic communities of NYC.
Nallah Sutherland was indicted for tearing down the posters of Israeli hostages on November 2 in NYC. Not contending with tearing down the posters of Israeli Hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza she also entered into an altercation with an onlooker who confronted Nallah for her actions.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams has reacted to the incident and said,
“Disciplinary action was taken immediately after learning about this incident a few weeks ago. Mayor Adams has been clear that hate has no place in our city.”
Meanwhile, in another development,t New York Rep. Ritchie Torres of the Bronx took Mayor Eric Adams’ administration to task on Sunday and derided the lenient reaction to the incident involving a taxpayer-funded staffer.
Torres posted on his X account,
“Tearing down posters of the hostages is completely unacceptable and would not be tolerated,”
Bronx Rep. Ritchie Torres added,
“I would fire anyone who engaged in acts of antisemitism like tearing down posters of the hostages. I call on the mayor to do the same.”
Her actions were also condemned by netizens and one netizen commented,
“Is there a reason you’re taking those down?”
The poster was part of a public art campaign which was meant to raise awareness among the general public for the plight of Israeli and American hostages taken captive by Hamas terrorists during their Oct. 7, 2023, attack on the Jewish state.
