The duo has created a big controversy for cosplaying Sean “Diddy” Combs and Justin Bieber at a Texas-based convention.

The duo, after the huge backlash, tried to make amends and took to their respective Instagrams to share an official apology.
D-Piddy had shared a video on his Instagram handle, which depicted him and WholeWheatPete dressed as Sean “Diddy” Combs and Justin Bieber carrying baby oil. Another video showed D-Piddy throwing money at a convention attendee.
For the unversed, police had recovered thousand bottles of baby oil and lubricants from Diddy’s Miami and Los Angeles residences, and this was reported in the federal indictment against Sean Combs. The stuff was meant to be used by Diddy in his infamous freak-off parties.
An X user @xz9365 shared another video of the streamers filming themselves as Sean “Diddy” Combs and Justin Bieber in the restroom of social media.
The WholeWheatPete videos on his TikTok handle have over two million followers on the video-sharing platform. He is also known for his Valorant and OSU! gaming streaming videos.
On the other hand, D-Piddy is a well-known name in the cosplaying community and grew into prominence for cosplaying as Deadpool and parodying Psy’s Gangnam Style hit track.
WholeWheatPete and D-Piddy Apology
After the controversy blew over, WholeWheatPete and D-Piddy took to Instagram to issue apologies for their cosplay:
“I have no excuses for these actions. My goal is to push the boundaries of cosplay content in exciting and unique ways, and never to disparage either the people portrayed in content or the ones who view it. I am so sorry to everyone I have negatively impacted due to my mistake.”
D-Piddy also stated,
“Guys, I am so truly, genuinely sorry, and I am holding myself accountable for this. I understand that what I did was wrong.”
