Will the all-new Nissan Kicks return to India with its rugged design?
Nissan Kicks, the all-new SUV, has been unveiled and will make its public debut at the 2024 New York International Auto Show. The updated model showcases a significant design overhaul and is expected to make a comeback in India, a rapidly growing SUV market.
The new Nissan Kicks features a revamped front grille, sleeker headlamps, and a clean profile with a high beltline. Its side profile boasts aero wheels, aluminium-finished skid plates, and vertically oriented LED taillights. The SUV offers more interior space, improved cargo capacity, and advanced safety features.
Inside, the SUV sports a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a seven-inch instrument cluster, optional 360-degree surround-view camera, Bose 10-speaker audio system, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety features include automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane departure warnings.
Powering the new Nissan Kicks is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 140 bhp and 190 Nm of torque. It comes with a CVT and AWD system, with multiple driving modes expected to be offered. With the SUV set to make a strong comeback, Nissan aims to capitalize on India’s SUV market demand.
