Software services company Wipro released the December 2020 quarterly results on 13 January. The consolidated profit of the company increased by 20.8 percent to Rs 2,966.70 crore during the October-December quarters. The consolidated profit of Wipro was Rs 2455.80 crore in the same quarter a year earlier.

The consolidated revenue of the company during this period stood at Rs 15,670 crore. This is 1.3 percent higher than the third quarter of last year. At that time, Wipro’s consolidated revenue was Rs 15,470.50 crore.

In dollar terms, the company’s revenue grew 3.9 percent year-on-year, while it grew by 3.7 percent on a quarter-on-quarter basis. The company said that the company’s revenue in dollars has been the highest in the last 36 quarters.

Wipro’s CC revenue growth was 3.4 percent in the December quarter. This was higher than the CNBC-TV18 poll’s estimate of 2.6 percent.

IT services revenue grew 3.8 percent sequentially to Rs 15,333.1 crore from Rs 14,768.1 crore in the September quarter. The company’s EBIT growth was up 17.1 percent at Rs 3,320.4 crore as against Rs 2,835.1 crore in the September 2020 quarter.
